A celebration of African-American and Caribbean cultures, MOJA gets its name from the Swahili word meaning “one,” a fitting name for a festival that celebrates harmony in our community. Enjoy a wide range of events including visual arts, classical music, dance, gospel, jazz, poetry, R&B music, storytelling, theatre, children’s activities, traditional crafts, ethnic food, and more, all highlighting the many African-American and Caribbean contributions to western and world cultures.
