Please note: You don’t need to be a resident of South Carolina and no blood tests are required. However, there is a minimum 24-hour waiting period to get your marriage license — and the Probate Court offices are only open from Monday to Friday — so be sure to plan in advance!

We are located 13 miles from the Charleston International Airport. This is about a 30-minute car ride away.

The Mills House is sitting pretty and now pet friendly! We welcome you and your furry friend with open paws on your trip to Charleston.

Our pet fee consists of a one-time non-refundable cleaning fee of $200 per stay. Maximum two pets per room, each must be under 45lbs. Your best pal will receive a Mills House bandana to wear during their stay and will also enjoy a water/food bowl and pet blanket. Guidelines are in place to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all of our guests (four-legged ones included!) so please ask about them when making your reservation.
