About The Mills House

The Mills House team appreciates you for thinking of us to host your next trip to Charleston and regrets any inconvenience these necessary changes to our amenities/services may cause. We continue to closely monitor the evolving situation and abide by all government recommendations.

Is the hotel open for overnight guest stays?
At this time, the hotel is open and accepting new reservations.

Are the pool and sundeck open?

The pool has reopened with social distancing in place and the sundeck is laid out with proper social distancing.   

Is the Barbadoes Room & Courtyard open?
Yes, currently we have limited times, please call the hotel directly for updated information at 843-577-2400.

Gov. McMaster has order that the sale of alcoholic beverages in all bars and restaurants will be prohibited after 11:00 PM each night. 

We have added a 24-hour grab and go option for guest of the hotel.

What is the closest open beach?
Folly Beach is open and is about a 25-minute drive from The Mills House Wyndham Grand. Isle of Palms also is open and is about a 30-minute drive.

Do you offer Valet?
Yes, we have valet parking for guest of the hotel available for $39.00 nightly. Please pull up to the front of the hotel on Meeting Street and we will be happy to assist in parking your car.  

Do you offer transportation? 

There is no transportation through the hotel however we recommend TECS Limo Service. Please find their information at www.tecslimoservice.com

Are Hair and Nail Salons open?

Yes, each salon is opening on their own time frame so please call each salon in advance. Appointments are suggested for all places. 

Is there an open golf course?
Yes, all golf courses are open and Patriots Point Links is the closest located only 10 minutes by car from the hotel.

What is currently open in Charleston?
The Governor has allowed beaches, parks, retail and restaurants to all open on a limited basis. Explore Charleston has an on going list of open business, please click here to view list.

Is the fitness center open?

We ask that only 4 guest at a time use the fitness center and certain equipment will be out of order to help promote social distancing. 

Do you offer housekeeping services?
Yes, by request only and please give a days notice of requested service. We ask that all guest are out of the room during cleaning to help promote social distancing.

What have you done for preventative measures?
We have removed all unnecessary collateral from guest rooms, added hand sanitizer station throughout the hotel, and housekeeping is paying greater attention to high touch areas.

What Is the Cancellation Policy?
We require 72 hours to cancel your room without penalty. Please call our front desk if you have any questions about your reservations at (843) 577-2400.

Is the Mills House a dog-friendly hotel?
We are not a dog-friendly hotel, although we do allow service animals.

How far away are you from the airport?
We are located 13 miles from the Charleston International Airport.

What Time Do We Check-In? When is Check-out?
The check-in at The Mills House Wyndham Grand Hotel is 3:00 pm and 11:00 am check out time.

                               

Please continue to do your part:
Maintain a minimum distance of six (6) feet between you and other people.
Cover your mouth with a cloth or tissue when you cough or sneeze.
Do Not shake hands or engage in unnecessary physical contact with other people.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
Wash your hands often with soap and water.
Only ride the elevator with members of your travel party.  Please wait for the next elevator to insure physical distancing.
