Grape Stomp Festival
Wine lovers and families will enjoy a day at Deep Water Vineyard. Home of one of the only truly native grapes to the US, Deep Water remains true to its Southern roots, growing muscadine grapes native to the region. With 48 acres for you to explore, take in walking trails, animals, a garden, large pond, and charming gift shop, in addition to the winery.
At the vineyard’s most anticipated event of the year, the annual Grape Stomp Festival, indulge in samples from Deep Water Vineyard and Bears Bluff Meadery, live music, food trucks, grape stomping competitions, and even a popular Lucille Ball look-alike contest. Even sip on the vineyard’s very popular strawberry wine, “Have a Ball, Lucille,” while it lasts.
Located about 30 minutes south of Charleston on the quiet island of Wadmalaw, Deep Water Vineyard is a must when visiting the Lowcountry. Get your tickets and plan your Mills House stay today.
